TAMPA — Low enrollment numbers and a lack of job prospects for graduates have landed some degrees at the University of South Florida on the chopping block, officials said. The USF Board of Trustees’ Academics and Campus Environment workgroup approved a recommendation Nov. 12 to cut the bachelors-level Foreign Language Education and the bachelors- and masters-level American Studies degree programs, pending a final vote from the board on Dec. 3.
